For those whom are not familiar with French Aubusson I like to bring to your attention that Aubussons are Flat Weave. Usually, when we come cross French Aubussons at this age or higher we see some condition problem such visible foundation threads, stain, repair and not clean. But in this case, I was so amazed that I found a 140 years old French Aubusson without any problem whatsoever. It was so lucky , also future buyer. I spotted this from an estate sale from a mansion in Los Angeles, whole place was decorated absolutely Victorian and this was laid down in their dining room. Another Advantage about this, nice earth tone color combination and of course measures 10’-8” x 15’ . Something like this at this age , condition, and size easily could have a 5 figures price tag at retailers but you have a golden opportunity to steal it at $2,999.00 .
