Wow, what a beauty. Isn't it? Persian Semnan rugs are the kind that don't come around very often. Sometimes they are mistaken with Tehran due to the similarity. I spotted this in Switzerland & it I couldn't take my eyes off of it until I bought it. Semnan located in northeast Persia and rugs that come from there have high KPSI with some unusual pattern like the one here. As far as the condition goes, it has low pile from top to bottom some smallpart are even lower and show wear but you have to get so close to the rug to spot it but not visible by standing. It measures 10' x 14' and is made of wool cotton foundation Without any doubt this color combination is so unique and second to none.
