If you have French or Victorian decoration in mind, this could work out for you. This pattern , which us called Victorian Roses or Called “Golfarang” in books . Gol means flower and farang means foreign . The French influence came to Persian rugs in late 1800 & started with this design. This rug is a century old, has decent pile from top to bottom. The only thing that I need to bring to your attention, is not a 100% rectangle , which happens in many hand knotted pieces . It does have a slight curve on the left edge . It measures 8’x11’ and is made of wool on cotton foundation .
