Without a doubts this is one of the oldest & finest Turkish Hereje that I came cross . Please, refer to the pictures & view the pattern of this masterpiece, well detailed with well balanced color combination, which is out of this world,. This is one of those pieces that only by looking at it, it easily could speak for its beauty , is a definite conversational pieces & eye lingering. It also could be used as a hanging piece because of its prayer style, But here is the part that I wish I didn't have to say, this rug shows some minor wear in lower bottom, please, refer to the close ups that is marked the wear area. It is not visible when you view the rug by standing, you have to bend over the rug to see the worn out spot. I believe this rug was exposed to the traffic because rest of the rug is very good shape.
