The Crystal Trading Post (established 1896; now closed) was located on the Navajo Reservation in far western New Mexico, high up in the Chuska Mountains. Due to its remote location, trading post proprietor J.B. Moore had to be resourceful to sell the Navajo rugs he purchased from the local weavers. I located this at the state sale in Santa Barbara , CA. there were two at that sale, the other one is a gorgeous Ganado, which currentlylisting on eBay too. This measure 38" x 66"(3'-2" x 5'-6"). as far as condition goes;“This is a very early piece , it does have a small see through but no tears. As you see, the pictures, it is not visible
