Antique Gold & Purple Art Deco Chinese Rug

Every Art Deco Lover knows that the best combo as far as the color combination goes, is the combination of gold in the background & purple in the min borders. This beauty came out from an estate sale in Santa Barbara, CA, used to be in a 12000 SF mansion. Their living room was in two sections, this was laid down in the smaller section & it was gorgeously decorated with Mid century Art Deco furniture & home accessories. This is a true Nichol quality, which was made in very early of  beginning of Art Deco era, which was in 1920. They had decorated their home in 1962 & I was told that they had paid fortune for this rug. I just couldn't get my eyes off of it because I am a Deco lover myself. Fortunately , I was able to purchase it along with two more Deco rugs, & some accessories which I will be listing the other Decos by next week. If you had any question, please, let me know.
