This could be the most unusual pictorial Persian Haji Jalili Style Tabriz that we have ever seen, I am sure there is a story behind this subjcet, I picked up this from a Jordanian family in Malibu, CA, I was told that they are related to the Royal family in Jordan, and their family used to work at the embassy of Jordan In Tehran. She wasn't sure that these rugs (they were two, the other one is sold) were given to the family as a gift or purchased This rug is well over century old, it is a very good quality rug, over 50 raj and respect to its age, shows wear but no tear, hole, or showing showing foundation threads. l
