Shoring & Farhad (Shirin & Farhad)is a love story from a Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi who  was born in 1141 and died in 1209. Shirin & Farhad is a story of one way live. Shirin was an Armenian princess who was in love with Khosro Parvis who was the king of Persia during the Sassanian dynasty. It was written that Shirin loved to drink sheep milk but since the herd was so far away from the king palace , they had to go too far to get fresh milk from Herd but by the time bring the milk to palace, it was going bad..King Khosro Parviz knew an expert stone carver whose name was Farhad, he said he could make a canal from mountain to the palace sp the milk could get  to palace a lot faster. King saw Farhad and told him what he has in mind, Farhad accepted and started to carve the mountain but one day Shirin decided to go to see his job, when she noticed that farhad has done a great job she admired him rewarded then some jewelry and told him he will get paid in full when he finishes the job. Finally he finished what he had to do, went king rewarded Farhad with a few expensive gems then Farhad put all the jewels by Shirin's feet then it was love at the first site. Since he didn't dare to express his love toward Shirin to the king he went back to the village with so much sorrow & weeping, since Farhad was so sad and weeping finally people found out about it including the king who was in love with Shirin and Shirin as well. King didn't know what he had to do , didn't want to kill Farhad because be beloved if he does it he will kill the innocency, King asked his advisors , they told him that make Farhad kind of greedy by offer him lots of money and ask him to do so much digging so he can forget about loving Shirin. Farhad was invited to the palace and king gave him more expensive jewelry then king started chadding with Farhad , every time Khosro was aking Farhad to end his love with Shirin he was answ\ring back with confidence and never had any fear from the king, King asked Farhad start making a road in middle of the mountain so people go go easily back & forth, Farhad said i will do this so you stop loving Shirin then king got angry and wanted to beheaded the Farhad but since he was given him an amenity he decided not to do it. Farhad went to the mountain and started to carve the mountain with Shirin love in hod head. Farhad carved the picture of Shirin & Khosro with his horse (Shabdeez with the name of the king's horse). He had Shirin in his head looking at the palace and telling Shirin that you are so busy with your own  going to the parties and having good times , love the king but pay no attention to me. One day Shirin was having fun with her friends the said since Farhad is digging the mountain for my love,  i better go see his work and look at it closely. She got on the horse with some gifts , Farhad couldn't believe that Shirin has come to see him, got very happy and while he was speechless went towards Shirin and welcome her. Shirin asked how he has been doing . Since Farhad was so overcome with Shirin Love, he told her I am in love with you but you really don't care please, stay longer so I can look at you this way you might start loving me then king would learn that you are not in love with him anymore. when Shirin wanted to go back her horse fel to the ground and couldn't get up . Farhad lifted the horse while Shirin still was on its back and started to do down the hill. They gave the news to the king that Shirin had gone to visit the Farhad then that happened . Farhad was so happy from this incident , King talked to his advisors then came to conclusion to tell Farhad that Shirin is dead , They sent an old man to give the news to Farhad , when Farhad heard he instantly died. Old man was working with Farhad.s ax & arrowhead, fel on a ground that has moisture then he converted to a pomegranate plant that its fruit was remedy for every pain.
