Edward Fields Carpet Makers is a vanguard of American design and has been creating bespoke luxury carpets and rugs for eight decades. Founded by Edward Fields in 1935. Edward Field rugs was going only to luxury houses & since they were so unique and some were made by special orders, they all had very juicy prices. The one that I am offering freshly came out from a veru high end Beverly Hills Estate sale. This rug was made by an especial order in 1951, they ordered it 15' x 15' just to fit for their living room. One thing that I need to bring to your attention, the typw of wool that was usedin Edward Field carpets was the finest wool, which is Manchester Wool imported Manchester England it shines like silk and feels like Velvet. The actual size 14'-10" x 14'-10". Amazingly this beauty was kept so well and we were told that it was cleaned 6 months ago and it was a smoke free estate. If someone happens to love this and it is too big for the space, it easily could be modified in different sizes due to its pattern. The oversize Edward Field rugs go up to 20K but here, I am offering this beauty at onle $5,299.00.
